OSM in August ‘10

Sunday School, every Sunday 9:30-10:30

We have co-ed classes for both Middle and High school students.  These classes meet in the Christian Life Center and are led by a great group of adult volunteers who love investing in the lives of your students.

242 Small Groups

“The believers studied what the apostles taught.  They shared life together.  They broke bread and ate together.  And they prayed.”  Acts 2:42

Small Groups are designed so that students and their leaders have time to engage in deeper matters of life and faith. 

Currently, we have a middle school co-ed group , a high school gals group and a high school guys group. 

Groups meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 in the Christian Life Center.  Feel free to grab some dinner and join us at 6:00 for an informal ‘meal time’.

The Mix

(6^th-12^th grade students)

Sunday nights 5:30-7:30

Dinner is served at 5:30.

A Big Thank You!!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time or made donations to VBS.  It was a HUGE success.  It’s such a blessing to see how this entire church family comes together for this week of fun and ministry.

3^rd Annual Rising 6^th Graders

Ice Cream Social

Rising 6^th graders grab your parents and meet us in the CLC on

August 4^th at 6pm.

We’ll share some yummy sundaes as we talk about OSM and the upcoming events and activities.

Students will also have a chance to get to know some of the ‘veteran’ OSM students.

Promotion Sunday, August 8th

·    Rising 6^th graders will join us in the CLC.

·    Rising 9^th graders, you can just stroll across to The Spot.

Baptism & Picnic at the Lake

August 8^th, 5:30 pm

Harrison Bay Recreation Area

Join the entire OUMC family as we share in the Baptism of several of our friends.

Please bring your favorite vegetable side dish and dessert to share with everyone.    We will meet at Picnic Pavilion 2 (near the tennis courts) for dinner, followed by the Baptisms.
